From PMA - [.zip]

This is the template file, student photo, action and script that was shown at PMA. If you would like to use this action, load it in the actions palette. Then place the script in the Photoshop CS > Presets > Scripts folder. When running the action, you will need to redirect the paths to the correct folder where you are storing the template file on your hard drive

Density and Color Variations - [.zip]

This action will create multiple copies of an area of your image and vary its density and color. It is a good way to test the output of an image to a printer if you choose not to use a color managed workflow or don't have a profile for your printer. Simply open the image that you want to print and crop a square area from it (that contains color and dinsity sensitive areas like flash tone or neutrals). Then run the action, print the test file and determine which square looks the best. Return to the original file and make those adjustments to it (using the Curves and Color Ballance adjustment layers, and print your entire image. The numbers across the top represent changes in the Color Ballance Adjustment layer, the bottom row represent changes made in the curves dialog box by dragging the Input level at the center of the curve up or down.

Nine Different Effects - [.zip]

This action will create nine different versions of your image including a color version, B/W, sepia toned etc. on a single template page that you create. In order for the action to work, you must first create a template file (8 inches by 10 inches at 250 PPI) to use as the background sheet (this can include important information such as your logo and contact information).TFor this action to work, you must have this template file open as well as any size original file (that you want to make the multiple copies of). Make sure that the image file (not the template) is the frontmost document of the two. Then play the action.

Saving out Snapshots - [.zip]

To use this action, select the bottom snapshot in the History palette and play the action. Each snapshot in the file will be saved to a seperate file by: selecting the snapshot, creating a new file, saving the new file (it automatically will prompt you to name the new file) and closing the new file. It repeats this sequence of commands until up to 5 snapshots have been saved as seperate documents.

Stippled Effect - [.zip]

This action creates a monochrome stippled effect on an image. The larger the file, the more detail will be maintained. If you want to make a color image, run the action on an RGB iamges and then select Image > Adjust > Hue and Saturation. Click the colorize button and slide the hue slider to the desired color. Or, use the magic Wand tool to select each of the different shades of grey (in the Magic Wand Options palette, set the tolerence to 1 and turn off anti aliasing, click on the desired shade, then choose Select > Similar to select all occurances of that shade). Use the color palette or color picker to select the desired color and select Image > Fill. Repeat for each color.
